Description:
The morocho is another type of corn spread in the Andean zone; It has been developed by crossing types of floury maize with hard maize from high areas. The kernels have soft starch in the center with a peripheral layer of hard starch surrounding it. Morocho type corns are more tolerant to the problems that affect mealy corns; These are maize that have the dual purpose of serving as human use and for the poultry industry.

Use:
Widely used in our country, especially in the Sierra for the elaboration of salt morocho (soup), sweet morocho, morocho empanadas.

Commercial presentation:

Laminated covers of bioriented + monooriented polypropylene material with printing, when the product is packed in bags, these must be clean, resistant, and well sewn or sealed.
